Moss
Green so dark it reads as black in a fine line. In a wide one it shades from pale moss to near black inside a single stroke.

Moss on Washi
A swab and a word on Washi, written live.
Shading is what happens when ink dries unevenly: thin where the nib moved fast, deep where it lingered. Moss is made to do it.
In the Ferrule EF it is a sober green-black for notes. In the Reed it becomes something else: every letter has a light side and a dark side.
On thin Washi the shading softens and the green comes through to the back like a leaf held to the window.
