Ember on Glaze
A swab and a word on Glaze, written live.
Ember is an orange you can read: dark enough for a full page, warm enough for a card. The gold is a fine shimmer that settles in the bottle and rides along in the line.
Shake the bottle gently before you fill. The particles sit on top of the paper, so the smoother the sheet, the more gold you see.
Use it with a wide nib. The Reed lays down enough ink that every down-stroke glints.
On each paper

Care
Shimmer inks need a pen you flush often. Clean it out within a couple of weeks and before it goes in a drawer.
