THE NIGHT TEST
NORTH END24 M OUT
TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT. UNDER THE LIGHTS.
A floodlit stadium, a four-man wall and a keeper who reads the flight. Pick a ball, swipe through it, and see how fast it leaves your boot, how far it bends and whether it beats him.
Sound on. The stadium is under 3.1 MB: a few seconds on mobile data.
The Night Test needs JavaScript and a browser with WebGL 2. Everything else on this site works without it.

HOW TO TAKE IT

Swipe through the ball towards the goal.

Curve your swipe to curl it. The more it bows, the more it bends.

Flick up at the end to lift it over the wall.
With a mouse: drag through the ball towards the goal and let go.
Tip A straight swipe with no curve: no spin. Try it with the Moth. Take it with the Moth →
WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN
- SPEED
- Off the boot, in km/h. A hard curled free kick leaves at 90 to 115 km/h.
- SPIN
- Revolutions per second. A real curler turns 6 to 12 times a second.
- BEND
- The largest sideways distance between the flight and a straight line from the ball to where it crossed the goal line.
- TIME TO GOAL
- From the strike to the goal line, the keeper's gloves or the woodwork.
SAME STRIKE, THREE BALLS
After each kick, the stadium flies it again with the other two balls. Nothing else changes: same boot, same strike, same air. You'll find the table under your readouts.
