CONSTRUCTION

SIX PANELS, BONDED.

Six pinwheel panels, heat-bonded instead of stitched, with 3.32 m of grooves 1.56 mm deep where the seams would be. The deep grooves trip the air earliest of the three: its drag is lowest at 64 km/h. One band crosses each panel; with spin, the bands turn into rings you can count.
